When I was a kid, I wanted to be a cryptozoologist and search for bigfoot. However, I soon realized the pseudoscientific nature of cryptozoology and instead went on to earn a PhD in Zoology and I am a legit animal scientist. I felt the scientific pursuit was more noble and virtuous than the pseudoscientific pursuit. So I am pretty ticked as a zoologist with 30+ scientific publications and that I never have a chance of getting on animal planet, yet these bozos are paid way more than my salary. I guess I chose the wrong career. This is the perfect example of how entertainment will always trump science. Pleasing people with mindless mush over a true virtuous pursuit of knowledge.

Not a single word in this script is wasted ... masterful.
